Surface mounted rim box.
These can be a great security upgrade in a number of places where a standard fixture is not that secure. The one in the picture I fitted on a single metal door that only had a basic cylinder lock on it. The box has been fitted with a British Standard 5 lever deadlock inside that is designed specifically to fit in black box.
